The grand wedding of Kgaogelo and Matebogo was hosted by the top venue Velmore Estate. The couple rejoiced having their celebration tucked away for a special day like this.
The outdoor wedding reception was situated along an aisle surrounded by a wedding pool, and everyone prayed that the weather would hold up. Thankfully, it did.
Although the groom was on time, the decor company underestimated their timeline, resulting in the bride being kept back. However, instead of wasting time, myself and Matebogo decided to embrace every second and create strong portraits for their album. We both loved the outcome.
The church ceremony was intimate, holy, and blessed, and I felt inspired by the strong yet humble kindness of Kgaogelo. The romantic photoshoot, where the bride sang for her husband with the sweetest voice, almost had me in tears. But then drama ensued as ambulance sirens were heard when a guest fell ill at the reception area. Luckily, everything turned out for the better, and once the party restarted, it became a reception filled with heartfelt words, passionate dancing, and joy unspeakable.
It was my pleasure being your photographer, and I want to thank you for being astonishing.
I consider grace and kindness as power, enthusiasm as a sword, and love as a crown. My eyes are filled with gratitude. I shoot waves of beauty and the trigger is being captivated by the precious essence of live.
